MAJONE &PARTNERS PARTICIPATE AT THE 5TH ITALIAN TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM IN MYANMAR
Last October Eng Beatrice Majone gave lectures at the 5th Italian Technical Symposium, in Naypyitaw, on Tunneling and Bridge Rehabilitation. The Symposium is introduced by His Excellency, Minister of Construction in Myanmar, U Win Khaing.
The topic of Majone & Partners Srl presentation was:
FLOODING: AN ISSUE TO HANDLE IN FAST GROWING COUNTRIES
The contribution describes the resilient approach of Majone & Partners to issue of flooding risk management, starting from a short description of Burmese situation and of the main factors affecting flooding hazards and illustrating the structural and non-structural measures to tackle flood mitigation.
In conclusion the Virtuous international models used in the world were introduced.
The visit in Myanmar was also finalized the official registration of STEPS Company Ltd.. The new Burmese Company formed by Majone & Partners Srl, Soil Srl, Tecon Srl and Dr.Franz Josef Goetz, three Italian companies with international expertise in water resource management, geotechnical engineering, applied geology and civil structuring engineering.
